Dear Whiz Kids,

I seem to have upset my internet explorer. I cannot connect to the web using it. When I open Internet Explorer it says down the bottom "connecting to site 219.249.220.229" Thats it. It goes nowhere.

This is not a problem in most cases as I also use Mozilla Firefox, but I cant access certain sites e.g. Microsoft Windows update, except with explorer.

Any suggestions?

Constantine

Yes. I use Ad Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy.

All to no avail.

It is quite possible I have messed with settings, but I dont know what they should be so I cant return them to original.

This is only speculation.

Has it been changed?
