I can't access gmail on my home computer. I can access it everywhere else I have tried. I can access just about every other website except facebook. I'm using IE 8, and get the standard "can't access the website" error message.

I have tried restarting, running virus scan, and changing from wireless to wired connection.

Any thoughts on what is causing this?

Does Google.com work correctly?

Open up command prompt(start -> run -> type "cmd" (without the quotes) -> press enter.

In the black box that appears type "ping mail.google.com" (once again without the quotes).

Once that finishes, right click -> mark -> Once you highlight everything press enter, come to a reply here, press ctrl+v inside of the reply box.
