I have been working on my aunts computer for a day and a half and i cant seem to find the problem to this computer. Before i started working on it, it had some serious virus problems. I removed a few but it seemed like the main virus was still there and i figured that one of the main system files was corrupted. I inserted the XP cd that came with the dell computer (E510) and after it rebooted into the windows installation part it went through but i noticed a few errors while installing the main devices and components , etc. I chose ignore or cancel and continued the installation. I was able to login and the problem was not fixed so i tried to reintstall windows again thinking the cd was scratched or something. Now it wont boot in to the 2nd part of the installation of windows after reboot. I get a blank screen after the Post Bios information. WHAT DO I DO??!

Do you want to save any information on the computer, or are you comfortable wiping it out and starting over?
