Hi all, I have a computer that had a virus. I used malwarebytes to remove the virus, rebooted the system and then installed a new antivirus program and scanned again. The system seems to be working fine. I can get online, check emails, ect. The problem is i have a software called paychex which logs into a secure connection to do a software update. When i try and click to check for updates, it says that it cannot connect to server. They told me at paychex that my port 443, 2500, and possibly 80 are being blocked. I unistalled the antivirus, shut down the xp firewall, but I cannot get the software to connect due to these ports being blocked or closed. Any ideas? I appreciate any help i get. Thanks
