This is weird, but apparently getting more common. I've been dealing with it for about two months. Here's the deal:

When I do a seach or click a link very often a page I didn't want pops up in a tab. Just for an instant I get the 69.31.52.238 URL, but I haven't been able to find anything about this at whois. This happens so frequently that I have got in the habit of looking at the title bar and "Xing out" strange pages before they completly load. (It saves the the trouble of waiting for it to load all the way.) The strange thing is that none of the pages that load are porn or gambling or anything. The last one -- when I was coming here to bleepingcomputer -- was Kanoodle.

None of my AV softwre picks up anything, but Malwarebytes will not connect for definition downloads.

If anyone has an idea bout this please let me know. I notice that I'm not the only one suffering this problem.

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
