Hi, so i have this older PC that was given to me by my PO employer when the company closed. It used to have Symantec antivirus and a bunch of other programs. I had to get the administrator password cracked otherwise i wasnt able to use the computer, which contains a lot of personnal things in it. Anyway, back to the problem...

the computer randomly "hang", most of the time, its when i click on a URL, lets say from a e-mail...sometimes it works right away, sometimes it can take as long as 30 seconds...it does the same thing when i try to open a excel file or a word file...one time it does it right away, the other time it takes 30 secs. or so.

I scaned it all many many times, Ccleaner, Adaware, Hijack this, spybot,....nothing wrong in it found.

There is two items i cannot "delete"...

-netSVC.exe
-Vpremote.exe

I used the uninstal tool from Symantec and it removed most of the crap left from the software, but i feel that there is something that the pc hangs on to that is related to Symantec...

Otherwise everyting works on that PC, i would just like to know why it hangs like that...

thanks.
