I have an HP zt1000 notebook the indicator lights come on but I cannot get the display to come on. I tried pressing the Fn plus F2 keys for the brightness and I tried the Fn plus F5 keys to enable the display. Do anyone have any other solutions? Thank you...

If at all possible, try plugging an external monitor into the blue VGA connection to see if you get video then.
In the beginning there was the command line.
