For some time I have the issue with Internet Explorer closing and reopening while browsing the web, in this forum as well so I don't think it is website problem although that is what explorer claims. I get the following message: "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." then when the tab reopens I get this message "A problem with this website has caused Explorer to close and reopen this tab".
Not sure what is the issue but it happens all the time. I have runned chkdsk /f but nothing has improved.
I am using Windows Home Edition Ver. 2002 SP3 and Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 Cipher Strength: 128 bit, update versions 0.
The computer is laptop HP Pavilion DV5000 (dv5250ca)

Close IE.
Go Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools, and click on Internet Explorer (no add-ons). Same thing?
