Hello,
I like to consider myself a hardcore gamer  video games are my life and there is really nothing I enjoy more than playing games on my PS3. Yes... I know it sounds pathetic and I'm sure there are better things I could do with my life, but it is what I enjoy :trumpet: I recently moved and I had to switch my ISP, as there is no cable lines out here and DSL is out of the question so I opted to go for a certain "high speed" satellite internet. As some of you may know this is good for downloads (at certain times) and just browsing the internet, but playing video games is next to impossible due to the lag I get :flowers: now I have tons of free time on my hands and nothing I thoroughly enjoy to satisfy my boredom. I came upon a few problems on my desktop which I have been trying to resolve (one is a "my web search" on my browser), so making a long story short I eventually came across this site and decided to give it a go :inlove: also, I was wondering where one should post their hijackthis scan report? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated... Okay, upon further investigating in the forums I came across a topic titled "Preparation Guide For Use Before Using Malware Removal Tools and Requesting Help", posted by Grinler. I followed all steps and am now stuck on #8 as it won't allow me to "extract all" from the gmer file. I know that this is probably off topic and I hope I will be forgiven for this, but I have no clue what or where to post this information.

Hello and welcome.. In this case skip the Gmer step and move on. Note that issue with your new topic. Let's get the log posted so someone can address all the issues.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
