Hello all,
Ok, so the other day I get a virus warning on my XP Pro PC and I did the usual, said no to it trying to run, closed everything down and ran my Norton scan.

From that point on I cannot access any web sites. All I get is the page cannot be displayed because the page is corrup or has moved ( i do not think the CNN web page has moved.

A friend of mine suggested I download/run Malwarebytes and see if it fixes it. 2 hours of scanning and 15 fixes later still no web site access.

So another friend suggested I run Combofix but after reading all of the warnings I though I would check in here first.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: I'm moving your topic to the Am I Infected forum. From this point on, please take all instructions from BC Staff at that forum, thanks ~ Hamluis.

Sorry I did not see that forum and figured this was a good place to start. Thanks for moving it.
