Hi there,

Many times when I am clicking a link, or less often, hitting enter after typing in an address into Firefox, I get a Google search with fragments of the address that I've typed in. For example, if I go to the recent sites dropdown, and click Firefox, I may end up at Google with a search for "0.35.channel.facebook.com" in the box.

I imagine it's some sort of timeout issue or settings in my network card that need to be changed. Maybe it's a Firefox setting that I tweaked a long time ago. I am pretty sure I have seen it happen with IE as well, though. I also thought for a while that it was caused by a slow connection, because when I was downloading files it seemed to happen more often. But of my 6mbps download speed, they may be taking 500kb-1mb at most. So that seemed improbable.

I have searched for the answer and have yet to come across someone with the same problem.
