My outlook had started not downloading images, and my flickr uploader isn't uploading.
I started looking at outlook to fix the issue and it said check IE. IE will not access the internet. I have gone through the Diagonose Network Issue, it says the ports are blocked. I added a firewall exception, and port forwarding. And I still get no IE.
So I started checking programs, my antivirus isn't updating, and lots of other programs are not able to access the internet.
I ran combo fix and no results.
Any Ideas?
Thank you.

Hello, and  to BleepingComputer.

Couple things.

First:

ComboFix (CF for short) is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for personal, unsupervised use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. When CF is run without trained assistance, it can no longer be considered a "safe" tool. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

You may find this topic to be informative - ComboFix usage, Questions, Help? - Look here

Since you've already run the tool however, the log needs to be analyzed by a MRT member to check and repair any damage. To do this, you'll need to post in the Malware Removal Logs forum.

Please read the information in this guide, and follow all the steps beginning with step 6. After you have followed the steps in that guide, I would like you to start a new thread HERE and include a link to this thread.

Important: Additionally, please mention that you ran ComboFix and post the log it generated. It can be found at C:\Combofix.txt

It would be helpful if you post a note here once you have completed the steps in the guide and have started your topic in malware removal. Good luck and be patient. The MRT is very busy, so it could be several days (3-5 days is the average wait right now) before you receive a reply. But rest assured, help is on the way!
