Hello all

I just installed Hijackthis and ran a scan.

I added all items to Hijackthis Ignorelist and checked they were all there. Assumed they were saved? A scan after restarting Hijackthis produced the same list and the Ignorelist was empty. What am I missing or not understanding?

Regards

Reply to my own post:

I originally checked EVERY item and clicked 'Add checked to ignorelist'. Double checked that ignore list DID contain the items I just added. No sign of 'save' button so I exited.
When I reran Hijackthis it displayed the same list and the Ignorelist was empty. Retried a few times but no joy.

What I just did:
Added ALL items EXCEPT the last one.
Exited Hijackthis.
Reran and it only found the one I had not checked and the Ignorelist had now been saved.
Added the remaining unchecked one.
Exited Hijackthis.
Reran and none were found - they are ALL now in the Ignorelist.

Is this a bug in Hijackthis or peculiar to my PC?

Regards

Mod Edit: Removed the quote of the previous post, which was unnecessary. ~tg
