Microsoft releases Windows Live Essentials 2011

Last week Microsoft released Windows Live Essentials 2011. This program suite is a free offering from Microsoft that includes Windows Live Family Safety, Windows Live Mesh, Windows Live Photo Galler, Windows Live Movie Maker, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Writer, and Windows Live Mail.Some new features of Windows Live Essentials 2011 include Live HD Video chatting via Messenger and the ability to easily publish photos to social networks such as Flickr, Facebook and SkyDrive with Photo Gallery. A new program offered by Windows Live Essentials is Windows Live Mesh. Mesh lets Windows 7 users synchronize their files across devices that include PCs and Mac. This allows you to always have the latest version of your files regardless of where you are in the world. Microsoft also offers a free 5GB of storage for all Mesh users.
