It sounds like I'm having the same trouble as BRAY. This happened yesterday and I am not having trouble, but, I'd like to run MBAM for a clean up. I have Windows XP. It says MBAM is corrupt. I also know I clicked on something that said antispysafeguard. I would really like to remove MBAM 1st (when I last had a virus it said to uninstall malwarebytes and reinstall, as using it for the virus could have corrupted it) Malwarebytes does not show up in the control panel uninstall. How do I uninstall when it is not in the control panel? Also, the malwarebytes I have is from January, 2010, so I'd like to install a fresh one. I am very computer illiterate!! But, with the help of these forums, I've managed to recover my computer from nasty viruses. So thanks for any help!!
