My computer has started to boot and load programs very slowly. I get periodic 100% cpu usage, usually when booting or opening a program. (I had to disable my comodo firewall because when it is running, I get constant 100% cpu usage.) I also get lots of hard disk activity and going online when when I am not doing anything that requires these activities. When I boot, after the programs that are supposed to load on boot are running, the hard disk keeps running for almost 2 minutes. I have run multiple scans with Panda cloud antivirus, super anti spyware, malwarebytes, iobit security 360,and spybot which are resident on my computer, as well as some online scanners. All show no problems. On 2 occasions the cursor started jumping around on the screen with no input from me. Sounds like something has taken control of my computer. I do not want to have to reinstall. Please help if you can.

Try running chkdsk /r...and then defragging?

Try running a diagnostic on your hard drive?

System manufacturer and model?

How much free space on C:? How large is C:?

How much RAM installed?
