You can check your Internet Explorer settings:

* Open the Internet Explorer
* Click Tools -> Internet Options
* Click on the Advanced tab.
* At the bottom of the window click the Restore Defaults button.
* Click the OK button.

Click the Security tab
- Internet - press Default Level button
- Local - press Default Level button
- Trusted - press Default Level button
- Restricted - press Default Level button
Press the Sites button -> remove all sites not set by you.

Click Trusted icon -> press the Sites button
Remove all the sites that are not set by you.
Uncheck "Require server verification"
Enter here
- msn.com
- passport.com
- passport.net
- microsoft.com

Click the Privacy tab
Press the Sites button
Remove entries not set by you,
Enter and press "Allow" (cookies)
- msn.com
- passport.com
- passport.net
- microsoft.com

Try to login. Tell me if the problem is gone.

Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?

yes, the problem with hotmail is gone.
