I have the google redirect virus. I click on search results and I get redirected to a different website then I clicked on. I have tried malwarebytes, Antispyware and Spy bot to get rid of this virus. Malwarebytes and Antispyware showed no malware.
Spybot showed 15 malware problems: Fraud.WindowsProtectionSuite: [SBI $B97733A] Redirected host (Redirected host, nothing done) with assorted web sites followed by =
Spybot also showed 3 other problems: MicrosoftWindowsRedirectedHosts: [SBI $19781685] Redirected host (Redirected host, nothing done) with assorted web sites followed by =
When I went to remove them I received this error: unexpected error in fixing problems (cannot create file "C\Windows\System32\drivers\ect\hosts\ Acces is denied)
I tried the Krill.exe and then ran Spybot again. same issue. I went to the C\Windows\System32\drivers\ect\hosts and tried to change the host file, it would not save. I then tried TDsskiller and it showed nothing.
I need to get this off my computer. Help
