istsvc.exe is an advertising program by Integrated Search Technologies. This process monitors your browsing habits and distributes the data back to the author's servers for analyses. This also prompts advertising popups. This program is spyware and should be removed from your computer.

It may be located in "C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\".

It adds an entry that points to 'ISTsvc.exe' into the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run', so that it can be launched automatically at system startup.

If you are not comfortable doing this, go to the link at the top of the BleepingComputer web page and follow instructions in the link for do you have popups or other malware infecting your computer, run the hijack this log, post it and someone will help you.
