i have a user who is getting an error message when trying to access the root of Public Folders.
Cannot expand the folder. The attempt to log in to Microsoft exchange has failed.
Here are some things I have tried thus far:
~Had her login to webmail and she can access these folders this way
~I logged in to a brand new laptop with a fresh image and all of MS's updates, setup her email and received the EXACT same error (this one threw me off)
~I logged in to the same laptop as myself, setup my email and tried to access Public Folders and was successful
~Lastly, I logged her on to my own PC (Dell Precision T3400) which i run Win7 Pro 64bit with Outlook 2007 SP2
Can anyone offer any assistance on how to resolve this issue or what else to check?
i have read and discovered there is a known issue with KB980376, however, that security update is not installed on the users machine.
the following patches were pushed recently via our SCCM server but none of them seem to pertain to Outlook.
