I have a request for help on the malware forum that I've been monitoring for past few days. I usually visit the site as guest (not logged in) and noticed at the bottom where it shows 1 guest is reading this topic. However, when I refresh my browser it changes to 2 guests reading this topic. It will continue to show 2 guests until I leave the site/close the browser. This has happened consistently everytime I visit my topic and after I do the refresh. Note: I just logged in and checked and now only shows 1 user reading the topic (not logged in=guest, logged in=user).

Since one of my concerns is that my computer has been hacked or hijacked, am I being overly paranoid (that the attacker is monitoring my plea for help on your forum)? Sounds crazy, but...really hoping it's just a glitch in the forum.

Noone is following you. May be a spider detecting the page view and indexing it.

Thanks. I kinda figured the paranoia slant was more plausible anyway.
