problem with new hard drive

so i bought a new hard drive due to my old one starting to die. i have done this before with relative ease (a little loss in data but nothing to crazy) but this time i booted up after moving all the data over and i was told that my copy of windows 7 was invalid (without thinking) i restarted the computer. now it doesnt get past the boot screen. is there anyway i can fix this??

I am taken it that you cloned your hard drive and all its contents to another hard drive, is this correct?

System manufacturer and model?

Did system come with restore/recovery partition or disk?

yes i cloned the hard drive. and the origional hard drive was a seagate, while the new one is Western Digital. if that answers your question
