Hello people,
Last week i took my PC tower into work for our IT department to sort out a few problems. One being AntiMalreware Doctor.
Since i've got it home and plugged everything back in, i keep getting a" found new hardware" message come up.
Then i get a wizard come up for installation of my mouse. The mouse is a USB optical, plug and play.
The mouse does work and everything seems fine.......But this happens on every bootup!
Probably something really simple! But it's getting very annoying...LOL

Thanks for your time..............Trev!

Since it's PnP...I would just go into Device Manager...remove everything under Mice And Other Pointing Devices...then reboot and allow the drivers to reinstall.

Thanks for your reply Louis,
Knew it would be something simple, after days of head scratching i did something i stupidly never tried!
I put my mouse into another USB port and rebooted and all seems to be fine now.
DOH!!
Who feels like a complete donut!??!.......Er! ME!! LOL.
