This virus or trojan has been spreading over our Windows network from PC to PC and I cant catch and identify it. It kinda sounds similar to what win32/virut does, but not sure. I know this one deletes explorer.exe and regedit.exe. Leaves user with no desktop icons or taskbar. I can navigate and paste a clean copy of explorer.exe using task mngr to get desktop back. But, I have yet to find and catch exactly what this is, so just replacing explorer.exe and regedit with clean files is not really fixing my problem just applying a temporary fix. It started only in XP but just starting hitting Win 7 machines. This is creating major havoc on our network, jumping from one computer to another. I really need to find a way to stop it from spreading. Identification would be a good first step. Thanks in advance for your help.
