PC - Windows 2000 Pro v5.0 (Build 2195: Service Pack 4): When shutting down the computer, it finally freezes at a DOS-blue screen with this message:

*** STOP; 0X0000009F (0X00000100, 0X89025470, 0X89025470, 0X88F7EA90) DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete. Contact your System Administrator or tech support group

Then I power-off the PC, and when I reboot again, Windows appears to open up successfully (all other programs seem to work as they should).

Since I'm clueless how to translate that message into common-usage English, nor do I have a System Administrator, hopefully you folks will prove to be my "tech support group" ... Any thoughts/help? Much thanks.

Update any and all drivers on your machine and see if the issues continue.
