I wasnt sure where to put this, so... if its in the wrong spot I'm sorry.

Anyway... this isn't an issue I'm having now, but I have had it in the past and I'm just curious as to why this may be...
Well... in the past, I've had my popup blocker set up... But the only time it ever prevented popups were when I wanted something to popup (like an instant message on a site or something). The rest of the time, popups that were supposed to be prevented were still popping up.

Why would this be?

Not sure as to why this happened, but I can recommend a great popup blocker if you use Mozilla Firefox, it's called Ad Block Plus.

Mozilla Firefox was the browser I used.
I still do use it, but I haven't experienced the problem since I got my new laptop (running on Windows 7).
