[b] Hello to everyone!
My name is Phillip; my web name is METAMORPHOSE. I am a 45 years old white male and have decided to go bqck to school in order to get a degree that is actually worth something in todays job market. I have always been interested in computers and their operations, so I am going for a 2 year Associate in Applied science degree in Computer Information Technology (maybe networking, pc support and administration, or one of the many specialized areas in the Computer Information Technology field). I am taking some of the basic courses at a community college now that are mostly the core curliculum for any of these Assiciate Degrees.
I have visited some 'techie" sites in the past, for information until now. It's just a hunch but i've got the feeling that beginners are welcome here, Also i found good information about an application I wanted to use(Spyware Terminater) that all but insists that you install a web browser called "crawler". I recieved accurate and reliable information on this website about how to uninstall it if it rears it's ugly head, even if i opt out of it during the installation process. Better safe than sorry., I'm not an advanced user, but I know a little bit about things, so i created a restore point also.
Well that's just about it. I have never used a chat room and never had corespondance such as e-mail with anyone other than some friends, family members and girlfriends/ex girlfriends (and my instructors at school, of course). I have never even used instant messageing.
Well that's really it. Thanks for having me.
