Hi gals and gals,

I grew up around computers and feel very comfortable digging in with issues. I know more than the average PC user, but I do not consider myself a pure tech support kind of person. I joined today because I have been having some crazy issues with my Win7 Ultimate. I downloaded Hijack This (something ive heard about but have never used) but the log files is beyond my scope of understanding what is supposed to be there and what isn't.

Hi Teej 2011, and welcome.

Just FYI, HiJackThis is one of the diagnostic tools that the experts use to mull over and decide what should be removed.

Your computer, your choice, but this is not a program for the untrained to play with. If you are quite happy to reinstall Windows if necessary then go ahead and play, otherwise it is well left alone.
