computer can`t find printer

i`ve just got my tower back after having it fixed. everything was wiped and have had windows xp reinstalled. now i cant use printer as computer can`t find it? i get a message saying if i have floppy insert, but i dont have disk. what can i do. i thought i would just reinsert wires?

Remember that the system was just reloaded. Doing so wiped out the printer drivers
What make & model is the printer?

Go to the manufacturers website or use the cd that came withthe printer to reinstall the drivers.
Do so with the USB cable unplugged from either the back of the computer or the back of the printer (whichever is easier)
Plug the cable in when the installer prompts you to do so

Print a test page and everything should be okie dokie!
In the beginning there was the command line.
