Using WinXP SP3 - have home-built AMD based system. System freezes (no response from keyboard or mouse) when computer left on overnight. Have not noticed this behavior if left on for same period for during day (maybe because it gets rebooted in the morning?)
Am using Avast Antivirus which is updated every day. Ran a full system scan and found no problems.
Ran Malware Bytes after updating - full scan - no problems.
Thought it might be a hardware problem (bios battery?) but don't know how to tell.
It is a minor annoyance, but if it is an indication of a larger problem beginning, I'd like to nip it in the bud.
Any help, much appreciated.
