Hi

For some unknown reason when I try to personalize the sounds in Win 7 there is no reaction. If h/ever I click on Desktop Background / Color / Screen Saver, they all react.

I wish to change the windows start up / close down sounds.
Can anyone advise what the cause might be and how to correct

Thanks

I think this is what you are looking for.
Right click on desktop/personalize/Sound/Sound Scheme/No sound/apply.

Control Panel>>All Control Panel Items>>Personalization>>Sounds>>

Highlight the sound(s) you want to change and select the "new" sound from the dropdown menu. Click apply. Repeat for as many you wish to change. Click OK when done.
