Hi folks,

I got all excited about linux ten years ago (well fifteen years ago really)
I ran a home linux box for a long time. I pretty much shut everything
down about two years ago.

Recently someone gave me a Dell desktop with Windows XP Home Edition, w/ SP3.

I was thinking about loading the lastest Slackware and running, but I didn't.
I've been using it for a several months.

Ten days ago or so this machine has turned evil. Many things "happened"
but I'm not sure what the start was. Anyway, I'm trying to learn how
to troubleshoot an MS box. And I've come here to get some help.
