I was trying to install Linux Mint. It booted up (Live usb) and the mouse wasnt working so I hit control alt delete and restarted it and was gonna go back to windows. But the screen just shows an underscore for a second and blinks then it shows a black blank screen. What do I do? I cant boot anything...... I dont see how the bios could be corrupted I think its just lost? I didnt install anything as I said. It was off a live flash drive.

Would removing the bios battery for a while possibly fix it?

UPDATE..... ok it just came on there was no bios screen. (where it says press this to do this and etc.) So I guess I shud rebuild my bios and rebuild my windows MBR correct? I knew sumthing was weird I just didnt wait long enough for it to boot up. (It took about 5 minutes for sum reason) Idk wat happened but im very lucky!

UPDATE..... reflashed my bios and everything is fine now. You can close thread if you wish

Thanks for the solution.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
