im not sure if this is were i should be probley not but thought someone might be able to help since i dont use vista and never have my sister has vista on a laptop it was severly infected with many viruses so much i had to remove hard drive and connect it to my desktop to remove the stuff now with the hard drive back in the laptop when i go to boot it brings up a screen that is asking for a user name and password this computer has never had a user name or password in use go to bios and it says theres no passwords assigned so now what

If a password has never been assigned you should be able to press "Enter" to proceed.

Without proper punctuation and the use of capital letters to start a sentence it is difficult you read your post. There are some members that will take one look a post like this and move on because it's too much trouble to figure out what you have written. :huh:

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

maybe the virus did this to your hard drive..??
