My problems started as having a block of files that couldn't be defragged. I posted about it here, and from the info I received, there was nothing I could do about it. I could accept it being a little slower, and that those files couldn't be defragged after doing a little research. So, thinking it was just an older, slower computer, I installed a new printer (hpdeskjet 882C) and downloaded the drivers from the internet Now, I can't download ANY programs. I get a security message about not being able to verify the publisher from mozilla firefox and adobe flash. Trying to fix the problem, I thought I would start with rkill and see what it turns up. I can't run rkill. More security issues with the publisher. I told it to run it anyway, and it it didn't work. Can't post what the error message was because now rkill is gone. Beside trashing the whole thing, what can I do?
