I disabled the following vista features and a download crashed (PAINT.NET) which i think relies on Microsoft's .NET Framework 3.5

I disabled these features -

internet printing client
tablet pc optional components
windows meeting place
xps viewer
remote differential compression
windows DFS Replication Service
windows powershell
windows powershell integrated scripting environment
feature pack for wireless

Which one caused the crash?

when i enabled them all again, the download worked fine.

Simple ! Try disabling one at a time then you'll come across the one thats causing the problem !

If life is not an option then why are we not given the option in the first place !
