Dell inspiron E1505 computer over heats, has no sound, ran Dell diagnostic test on unit FAN spins and passes all testing according to Dell Diagnostics. Can't figure out why unit has over heating issues. Any help?

Could you please explain a little more of what the computer is or isn't doing?

Is it shutting down on its own?

If it is overheating, purchase some "canned" air and blow out the vents. Without some dis-assembly that is about the best that you can do with a laptop.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
