Computer Speaker Wattage needed for 120 Sq. Ft Room?

The room is 10 feet X 12 Feet, so 120 SQ Feet

What would be a good speaker wattage for such a room for occasional loud music.

My Budget is $20-$25

Using Win 7 x64

thank you.

There are two ways of using external speakers which have amplification. One is to purchase at speaker system that includes built in amplification, like the Logitech LS21 2.1-CH PC multimedia speaker system. You can pick one up a K-mart for about thirty dollars (US).

The other way is to use the output of the audio as an input of a stereo.

Wattage only comes into play with the amount of power it can handle, in this case it won't matter.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
