Normally I use Image Host, it's down at this time, . .

I tried Tiny Pics, and had problems, Same with Image Shack,

But it seems I have had some luck with Media Fire, . .

but can not down load the
( Invention For Sale.wmv (1.67 MB) ) File, because I already own it, apparently the site tools configured this, . .

So, If anyone would like to give it a try and see for me how it works, I'd appreciate it,

here's the site location for the download, I am wanting to know about.

Message received from your link:

"The website declined to show this webpage"

There's also Photobucket, which you could try:

I uploaded to Photobucket, . the .wmv file, but can not figure how I would transfer the file to

recipient?

Image host would give a site address for the download to be received by recipient.

How to Share Videos On Photobucket:

http://www.ehow.com/how_2031242_share-vide...hotobucket.html

You can generally download pictures by right clicking and choosing 'Save Picture As'
or videos by 'Save Target As'.

I only use Photobucket for pictures; perhaps others who post videos can contribute further.

Well, still not sure about the procedure for photo bucket, but have found this;

http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/16...on_For_Sale.wmv

This allows a user to access the sight then request Download but it is then sent to them for a one time use via email, . .

If you care to try it your welcome

Pete, I'd like to check to find out if each person going to the site gets a different D/L

opportunity or if there is only one, . . like ever,

so if you went there per the address in last post then your D/L link should be different.,

than this one.

http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/16...on_For_Sale.wmv

I used two different email address but received the same link, . . so it is possible that it records the email address and allows one D/L per recipient

Sorry, . . I noticed it is the same as I gave you previously.

So, if you download it let me know then I will try it.

The Mediafire link is now working; I was able to download your file by clicking on the link
for a straight download and also by right clicking on the link and choosing 'save target as'.

-----------------------------------------------------

Re Filehosting.org

Clicking on your link gives the following message:

"Error Invalid Download Code Please Request a New One"

Inputting my email address and ticking box to confirm acceptance of conditions gets a link sent
to my Inbox; it says this can be used once and it opens the wmv in Windows Media Player.

I don't like this arrangement; first, I do not want to agree to terms and conditions before
I get a link and I don't want a file opening immediately.

Checked it three times, after clearing my cache each time; the third time I got "Internal Server Error".

You get a different link each time (using the same email address); two examples:

Thanks Pete, . .

Yes, . . I agree and am sure there are better deals out there, I'm checking one now, .

I like the idea of keeping these wmv's small but that isn't always possible.
In any case it becomes cumbersome to send these to your friends via e-mail, but you can push a button before you retire and the PC can deliver while you sleep.

Anyway I find it necessary for those who want to post on the net, . . it is finding someone you trust and who is reliable, that's the ticket.
