I'm having problems starting my PC in the morning, well it's not my PC bu the ACER flat screen monitor is not starting?

The monitor stays black / blank until I unplug it and then plug it back in - a few times before it will finally show anything.

It may show the ACER splash then total darkness and/or maybe add "No Signal"?

Is this my ACER flat screen or the video card?

It usually only happens in the morning after being off all night.

It is getting worse, I had to unplug it about 5-7 times this morning before I could get a signal to it and finally use my PC.

I have Windows 7 OS.

My video card is: EVGA 256-P2-N751-TR GeForce 8600 GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card

My ACER Monitor is: Acer AL2216WBD 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Ultra-fast 5ms, WSXGA+ 1680x1050, DVI, VGA, Black, VESA 100mm

I really want to find out what it is and either fix it or work on a replacement ASAP. I need to see what I'm doing! Thanks!

Try different monitor, or this monitor with another working computer.
