I just messed up big time.. At work I have the site save in favs, at home, I have not.. So I always do my google and did it for bleepingcomputers.com

Not computer, but computers... Yup, I tried and could not get on the page.. So I thought you got hacked.. Malwarebytes stopped going to the site for it said was a baddy...
I turned off the website blocking and pinged the site to get the ip address. Re Enabled the website protection and found out who it was..

Then I thought you got hacked again..

I even went as far as the waybackmachine to try to find the ip of the site.. I even went to malwarebytes to post a warning... I did all of this because ot the damn S at the end.

I went to malwarebytes and posted my STUPID mistake.

So guess what.. I'm making my favorites right after this post..

Well one thing for sure, I did a lot of detective work..

You have to watch those URLs very carefully before you hit that enter key.

Seriously, you would be surprised how those slight little typos can bring you to a web site of disaster.

Specially for URLs to popular web sites.

Example always be careful when typing Microsoft a slight slip up like typing mirosoft can get you into trouble real quick.

Bruce.
