the very first instruction in the Preparation Guide. One of the main problems with this PC is that I have been unable to back it up from the first day I purchased it (it is less than a year old). I've tried all sorts of things, including buying new media to back it up on more than once, but it just gets to a certain point and then the backup program keeps running--once it ran for two days and stayed at that same point. I've resorted to using the built in backup on Advanced System Care, but I have no idea how well it is really backing the monster up. It's still under warranty, so I'm considering just taking it back, but if there's some way to fix this I surely would like to know.

In the meantime, will using the backup function on ASC be adequate for following step #1 in the Preparation Guide? Thanks much for the help.
