I'm building an ultimate Workstation computer and I've been searching the net for a review for a ASUS K8N-DRE NewEgg specs.

Any opinions would be great... just want to make sure I'm making a good choice  . (Keep in mind that I also have a eG-Force 7800 GTX)

Thanks!!

Are you building a server or a work station computer ? You mention ultimate work station computer. That phrase does not make sense to me. Not trying to insult you just trying to understand. Usually someone building an ultimate computer is a heavy gamer that likes to compete in online games. A work station computer is usually found in business applications. In no way would these be a competitive gamer.

If you are not building a server you can spend about half as much on a kick a$$ motherboard.
I plan to live forever , so far , plan is working.

Thats a sweet server board. Are you gong to run a server on your DSL/cable modem? That is a lot of horsepower for a home server. I have a twin P-III 550 mhz with 1gb of RAM and it just idles. What kind of plans do you have for it?
