I have read and researched most of the topics, and i have been unsuccessful.
My problem started with teh Microsoft Security Essentials, (Fake). when I researched this particular issue I came across this website, and forums, however, i had quite the issue, apparently all my previous restore points were wiped out and there fore I could not restore to a point where my system was perfect.
I followed the guides on the different removal softwares, malware (mbam) etc, nothing i then followed the rkill, scenario, that did not work, however in safemode i continously clicked the icon and had it running, then i ran malwares and superantivirus.
as it stood i could not do task mge or even regedit, however after running all three i finally got rid of the fake pop up and got access to my system tskmgr etc, net access.
Now after intensive research and methods, it appears that I now have the win32:patched[trj] it is attached to the winlogon.exe now i have ran the program avast, however after running it i keep getting an incomplete login, meaning i see my desktop no icons, and just hangs, now i have managed to make a restore point that gives me access but runs slow.
I click on a web link in google, msn etc, and i am redirected to these websites that list ads, etc.
Now i read that the winlgon is a vital .exe file, i did try the delete but of course it cannot be deleted when windows says unable to delete make sure the file i snot protected etc.....
I have tried everything, and it appears that i can't repair move or what ever program detects this virus, and i cannot afford to do a rebuild of the OS.
I am not sure at this point what to do, i have seen on some topics that peeps have uploaded their specs, and for the life of me I cannot understand all that text.
So I am hoping that there is some help and resolution on this long drawn issue that i am faced with.
