Hello,

I have a question that I hope has a super simple answer and easy fix. Last night I was listening to videos on YouTube with no problem whatsoever. Tonight I can't get any sound. I've checked everything that I can think of to fix the problem. I've checked the obvious, the volume control on the actual speakers, and yes, it was turned on and up. I followed the cords from the back of the speakers down to the modem where they plug into and pushed them all hard to make sure they weren't loose. I checked to make sure that the volume on the videos was turned up all the way. I don't know what else to check. Any ideas?

Thanks so much!

Try uninstalling the sound drivers...then reinstalling them?

Can anyone give clear step-by-step directions on how to do this? Also, what would cause this to be a problem in the first place?

Thank you, and any other suggestions are very much welcomed.

Go to http://www.gateway.com and download the drivers from there.

This is SO weird! I just went to YouTube, and the sound is WORKING again, LOL!! I have no idea why as I hadn't done anything yet, but I'm just glad that it's back!

Thank you for the help!
