Im running windows 98 on another machine and am trying to install an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 soundcard. It should be a Plug and Play compatable card but windows doesn't detect it when I start up (i've tried putting the card into another spare pci slot). I have also tried installing the driver manually - windows says that it has finished the setup but when i go into my device manager it doesnt display the soundcard nor will any of my music software detect it.

I have had the soundcard in the computer before then I put it into another machine with XP on for a while but it just doesnt seem to like going back to the original computer.

Any Help!?

Thanks

Is this the same SC that you were working on in the 95/98*Grinler forum?
Glad you worked it out. Nice job.
