For the past two months, my laptop randomly shuts off. It does not go through the standard Windows "Shut Down", it just shuts off. My battery life has been fine, and charges normally. I thought it might be overheating, so I got one of those laptop coolers. No change. I thought it might be a problem with one of my programs, so I started tracking what I had running when it crashed. There's no consistency that I can find. Some days it will do it once, others it will crash repeatedly (4-5 times) before I give up on it and walk away for a while. It can do it within 10 minutes of running the machine or 10 hours. I have run Avast antivirus, no change. Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

It has crashed while running:
Internet Explorer
Google Chrome

Please close this thread. I got a blue screen of death, the computer is officially a paperweight. Thanks.
