Hello. I am using windows xp with an HP Photosmart 7150 printer, which has worked perfectly for 7 years. All of a sudden now it doesn't appear to work. I uninstalled printer and reinstalled software but nothing. I have run the trouble shooter but it did not help. During the trouble shoot, there was a section for it to "investigate" the problem and it did find my port may be malfunctioning. I could not clearly make out the how to remove and reinstall port. I print on port DOT4_001. I have tried to print on other ports to no avail. I was able to print a test of some sort but I have been trouble shooting for 3 days I forget which test it was, but here is what it says:
hp photosmart 7150 series
serial number xxxxxxxxxxx
service id # 13141
FW revision: WR05811A
total engine page count 1279
FB page count 10/0
PCL default symbol set 341
mfg 0-2 000000000B
T val 250
error code 90020703

Also as it is trying to print, I watch as the status of print job goes from "printing" to "deleting print job".

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hello, thanks for answering me. I tried to do as you said, but I do not have a USB printing support action. I took a photo of what my options are.... Sorry, there doesn't seem to be an attachment button to post the photo of usb options.

Uploaded photo, here is link to usb options.... http://s1005.photobucket.com/albums/af179/...9-14_011420.jpg

Last week, when I was last able to print I had printed a set of 10 business cards on one sheet. Ever since then, nada.

Hmmm, no I have not done a sys restore. Something to think about I suppose.

Hello. Thanks for suggestion of system restore. Seems to have done the trick. Have printed several pages, no problem. Thanks!! Thread is closed as far as I am concerned.
