cant open program

Hi there, i am having a problem opening a program, i get the error message "enty point not found could not be located in the dynamic link library.msvcp90.dll." I have tried removing the program and reinstalling it and i have had no luck. I am at your mercy and wait patiently for advice. :thumbsup:

I believe system file checker is only for windows operating system .dll files.

Can you state what program this is and when did it start happening?

Its an Encyclopedia library program, so i can view information for my daughters schooling assignments. Last time i used it was around 3 weeks ago, so i dont know what has happened since then.

Is this program installed on the computer?

Was this a download, or do you have the installation CD?

It is not a download, i have the installation cd. I have tried reinsalling from the cd and it still wont open.

did a system restore and then reinstalled the program and it did he trick, but still dont know what caused it. I know i updated itunes a few days ago.Maybe that had something to do with it i dunno. Anyways problem solved. Thanks guys.
