Hi, I want service pack 2 because of it's security.. However im a gamer, sp2 makes me lag for instance (Counter-Strike). Is there a fix for it? If there isn't i will stick with sp1. Cause i cant live without CS lol. If anyone can help me it will be much appreciated. ty

I am curious as to why SP2 makes your computer lag?

Is it the firewall? Turn off Windows firewall when gaming:
Start > Control Panel > Security Center

Could it be a lack of RAM in your system?

Or perhaps you have many programs running eating up the available RAM?

Or Malware?

I think there may be several reasons why your computer may be lagging.

Ok, how much memory do you have currently installed?
